STUNT PERFORMER
JACKSON BURNS

A native of Poteau, Oklahoma, grandson of poor sharecroppers of Scotch-Irish-Cherokee ancestry.

Jackson has overcome many obstacles in his life.  He was the first to attend College in his family and trained to the rank of Black Belt in two martial art styles and became interested in the entertainment business while at Northeastern State University at Tahlequah.

Burns worked in the pipeline construction industry for over 10 years which prepared him for his dangerous career as a motion picture stuntman.  Jackson has worked on close to 300 films and television programs as an actor, stunt player and special effects artist.

His work on the 'Walker, Texas Ranger' TV show broke two world stunt records (longest fire drag-246 feet, and most squibs fired on the body in one take-22 hits)  His special effects works has been nominated for several ADDY awards and in 2002 won the prestigious TELLY award.

Jackson's production company (Action & Atmosphere) produces documenaries, commericals, industrials, TV productions, films and live events.

Jackson Burns is a true independent who accomplishes what he sets out for with endurance and perseverance.
